I know everyone is flat out right now but it’s a really good time to do a cash flow forecast and make sure there will be enough cash to get through the usual January dry spell. You probably need a nice rest, not sleepless nights.
It’s the same every year. Accounts departments close down and pay you late. The big expenses roll in. If you have had big projects running in top gear you will probably also have a bunch of contractor costs.
The first step is to do a cash flow forecast.
Then see if you can do some interim billing and ask, as a special favour, for payment before Christmas.
You might be able to get a temporary overdraft – but they expensive and pa ain to manage so you should check out some other options.
Give me a shout if you want a hand.
